Homemade melted cheese with greens
This melted cheese is made from cottage cheese, butter and soda. Of greens you can take not only the parsley and dill, but and basil or thyme.
- cottage cheese – 200 g
- salt – 1/3 tsp
- baking soda – 1/3 tsp
- butter – 30 g
- dill – few sprigs
- parsley – few sprigs
- turmeric – optional
1. Cottage cheese thoroughly mash together with soda and salt. Allow to stand at room temperature for 3 hours.
2. Place the bowl with the curd in a water bath. Give cottage cheese melted, stirring occasionally.
3. In cottage cheese add the soft butter and chopped herbs, mix well. You can add a little turmeric as a dye.
4. To shift the melted cheese in a bowl, cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.
