Chicken with potatoes in the oven − make a festive dinner
Delicious and beautifully served dinner – is in itself brings a festive atmosphere, and if in your Arsenal is chicken with potatoes in the oven, then a good mood for the evening in the family is provided.
- 1-1,5 kg chicken
- 700 g of potatoes
- 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- sprigs of rosemary and sage
- pinch of ground coriander
- ground black pepper to taste
- salt to taste
- 0.5 cups of water
Wash the chicken and dry it with a towel.
Grind the garlic, add the spices, salt and mix. With this mixture rub the chicken outside and inside.
Drizzle the chicken with lemon juice, place on a baking tray and leave to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
Potatoes cut slices. In bowl combine potatoes, rosemary, sage, olive oil, salt and mix.
Lay out potatoes on a baking sheet around the chicken. Pour in baking pan half a Cup of hot water.
Send a baking sheet in a preheated 200°C oven for 20 minutes. Then take out chicken with potato from oven, turn the chicken, stir potatoes so all are evenly roasted.
If necessary, add water. Reduce the temperature to 180°C and bake chicken with potatoes in the oven for another 1 hour until golden brown.
To check readiness, pierce the chicken with a wooden stick − the extracted juice should be transparent. Get the fried chicken with potatoes from the oven and place on a dish.
