Cherry compote: very simple recipe
Compote of cherries perfectly quench thirst and saturate with vitamins.
- 2 liters water
- 1 kg cherries, halved and pitted
- 300 g sugar
1. Pour water into the pot, add sugar, put on fire and bring to boil. (If cherries are sour, can add more sugar at their discretion)
2. Then add cherries and again bring to boil.
Boil literally 1 minute and remove the pan from the heat.
3. Cherry compote cover with a lid and leave to cool down, and then you can put in the refrigerator, to the cherry compote was colder.
